Songs by popular musicians Davido, 9ice, and Olamide have been banned by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC). The songs have been banned from being aired on all local radio and TV stations.

The songs banned include If (remix) by Davido, Wo and Wavy Level by Olamide, and Living Things by 9ice. The artistes involved are yet to react to this latest move by the NBC.

NAIJ had earlier reported that Olamide’s Wo had been criticised by the ministry of health who said the song promotes the use of tobacco.

It’s unclear as to why Davido’s If (remix) was banned. Perhaps the fact that the song featured veteran American artiste R.Kelly is a reason or its sexua*ly suggestive lyrics.
