Nigerian celebrities speak out against FG’s plan to ban making films abroad

- The federal government’s plan to stop entertainers from making films and videos outside the country is eliciting responses from celebrities

- PSquare, Yemi Alade, Falz, Ruggedman, and Charly Boy have all slammed the government’s plan

- They feel the government should focus on more important issues

NAIJ.com had earlier reported that the federal government is gearing up to announce sanctions against any musician or filmmaker that shoots a video outside the country.

This was revealed recently by minister of information Lai Mohammed who said shooting videos outside the country doesn’t add to the nation’s economy.

Different celebrities have started reacting to the FG’s plan. PSquare, Kcee, Yemi Alade, Falz, Ruggedman, Charly Boy are some of those who have slammed the minister and the FG’s decision.
