US-based Nigerian artist Pardon C featured Ugandan superstar Jose Chameleone in his latest single Bele Bele.

As it is the custom, the Nigerian artist had expected that his Ugandan counterpart will promote the song on his social media pages but Chameleone never did and this angered many Nigerians who have listened to the songs.

While Pardon C’s fans acknowledged that Bele Bele was a hit, they urged the Ugandan star to give it a shout out so as to help in promoting the song.

Chameleone did not show support either on social media or traditional media and this raised speculations among their fans that Pardon C and Jose are not in good terms.

Speaking on whether there is a rift between him and Chameleone, Pardon C said he’s cool with Jose and because he’s yet to talk about their collaborative single -Bele Bele, he cannot disrespect him for any reason. He said: “My brother Jose Chameleone knows the right thing to do, and I’m very sure we have no beef whatsoever”.

Rather than condemn the Ugandan A-list star, Pardon C credited him for being selfless and appreciated the creativity he applied while recording the song to make the recording top-notch. “I really have to salute Jose Chameleone for his legendary status, working in the same studio and on the same song with him was a privilege, it’s all love over here,” he concluded.
