Reekado Banks calls out DJ Xclusive over new song

- Singer Reekado Banks and DJ Xclusive recorded a song together

- DJ Xclusive released the track but Reekado's verse was replaced by other artists

- Reekado made sure to call out DJ Xclusive on Twitter for the blatant disrespect

One of Mavin Records finest artists, Reekado Banks, seems to be involved in a little beef with popular disk jockey, DJ Xclusive. This will be a minor problem for the singer who bought an expensive car for himself last month.

On Tuesday, June 13, Reekado took to his Twitter to call out DJ Xclusive for pushing out a song (which he did not name) that he was to be featured on. The song in question is possibly 'As e dey hot' which DJ Xclusive has been promoting on his Instagram.

It seems Reekado had recorded his verse but the final version DJ Xclusive pushed out, featured only singers Mr. Eazi and Flavour.

Reekado wrote: "No disrespect but you messed up big time bro, DJ Xclusive. How do you beg me for a song and then take me out without telling me? Mad disrespectful."

If this is the case, then Reekado may simply be a victim of the politics of the music industry. Mr. Eazi is hot cake right now and Flavour always adds flavour to any song. Which is why he might have preferred them in the song, so that it will do well.

Also. DJ Xclusive could be planning to release an album which will include Reekado's version; which is a common practice in the industry.

However, Reekado is justified to be upset because he should have been informed about the switch. Reekado has since deleted the tweet and DJ Xclusive is yet to respond to the allegation.
