Baffa Yaro and Amina Mahuta are getting married in July and their love story started seven beautiful years ago at a wedding in Kano.
Speaking to NAIJ.com, Baffa opened up about how he met the love of his life Amina and knew she was the one. He narrated: "I met this beautiful young girl at a friend's wedding at Kano. Seeing her felt like I had never lived without her. There she was, like a breath of fresh air, like the universe and its sunshine; like the sky and its intercession of day and night."
"I remember asking her name at our first meeting and instead of her to say "Me?", she majestically said, 'My Name is Amina', and added, 'From Malumfashi,' which is also my origin. Right there I confessed, 'I have seen my wife. I will marry you,' but my lady took it more as a joke and said in her hilarious Hausa sentence 'Haba malam, bansanka va, kuma kace zaka aureni, karya ne'.
"But I repeated with my body and soul, 'I will marry you' and asked for where I can come to see her, she said 'Dutsinma College. I just started college.'
"You know, in the struggle of rising up, a man can give time to a thousand hearts but his love will never be lost for the true heart or woman he was predestined to come home for and Alhamdulillah, for the first Allah has gave me a priceless Jewel from my own home."
"I traveled all the way from Lagos to Dutsinma, Katsina to see my full moon, and at there we met and discussed under one tree in Dutsinma College. I couldn't help but noticing the beatific view of this happy city of Dutsinma that is rich and blessed with mountains all over."
"I took a beautiful stone on exactly, 11th of June 2010, almost 7 years back, and promised her to keep it safe to our wedding day and now, me and the joy of my life will be happily wedded July 1, 2017 as 'husband and wife'."
