A newborn baby boy was recently rescued from a bush in South Africa.

NAIJ.com observed that the South African Police Service posted a photo of a baby boy that was rescued on their official Facebook page on Thursday, June 1.

They said: "Eastern Cape- Queenstown: Contract workers from Laurie Dashwood found a baby boy in the bushes."

The South African Police Service found the baby in the bushes.

"He was taken to Queenstown Police station at about 17:00. Police are investigating the case."
