Former president Olusegun Obasanjo's son Olujonwo Obasanjo and Kessington Adebutu aka Baba Ijebu's daughter, Temitope Adebutu, got married on Thursday, May 11.
NAIJ.com had earlier reported that his mother, Taiwo Obasanjo didn't want the marriage to hold and warned them to postpone it. However, her cries fell on deaf ears and the traditional ceremony carried on as planned.
Obasanjo was present throughout with a smile on his face. Other political dignitaries enjoyed the ceremony including former Cross River governor, Donald Duke, Senator Ibikunle Amosun and others.
The ceremony took place at the Balmoral Hall of Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos. Their white wedding is set to take place on Saturday, May 13.
Congratulations to the Obasanjos!
