I am not engaged – Comedian Woli Arole explains fake pre-wedding photos

- Comedian Woli Arole posted photos with a beautiful lady back in April

- He wrote love notes to her and even called her his wife so everyone believed they were engaged

- Woli has now revealed it was all for fun and was a set-up for a new show he is working on

In April, NAIJ.com introduced to Woli Arole's beautiful fiancée whom he wrote love notes to all over Instagram.

Now, the comedian has revealed he is not getting married and those were not pre-wedding photos. They were simply photos from a modelling gig which got out of hand.

No doubt the comedian helped it's circulation by writing love notes under the photos. In a recent interview he said: "We had a particular shoot with a certain brand company for the clothes. I told him I love what I'm putting on, I feel like a groom."

He continued: "Next thing, the response was big. Before I could say anything, I got a call from my mum. She said I'm hearing that you want to marry and last time I checked you as my son, I've not seen any lady around you. So I had to explain to my family."

"Funny enough, it's been amazing. Looking at what is tending now in marriages. See, there is something I have noticed in Nigeria: the rate of broken marriages, the dysfunctionality that emanates from those homes, and so on. How can we use our tools as comedians to get messages across to people?"

"That was what gave birth to Taken. We realise most people get married for the wrong reasons. this project will answer questions and make people re-think before they get married."
