Patricia and Christopher Armstrong got married in a hospice recently just so their dying son would be present.
Patricia and Christopher Armstrong are a couple in America who got married this week in the hospice their dying son is admitted in.
Their son, Conner, was born with Edward’s syndrome, a genetic condition that is severe and usually fatal. Knowing that they have little time with him, the couple decided to have their memorable ceremony quickly so he would be present.
Christopher told CBS: "We were told we didn’t have much time left with Conner. So we wanted him to be [at the wedding].”
Patricia told: "I never thought we’d be in this position. But we’re trying to deal with it.” Connor passed on later on the same week.
Patricia later wrote on her Facebook: "Our baby boy was a fighter. He proved so many doctors wrong so many people wrong by making it as long as he did.”
