Earlier today, we reported that veteran musician Majek Fashek and his management team are putting plans in motion to sue Timi Dakolo for copyright infringement.
Well, Timi Dakolo who has always insisted that he obtained permission to use the song in question (Send The Down Rain) has finally shown proof that indeed he got permission to use the song.

He released photos of the contract signed as well as bank tellers showing that he paid N500,000 to filmmaker Charles Novia who represented Majek in the deal.

Confirming the photos, Charles said the deal was made in the presence and with the permission of Majek Fashek. So Timi is absolved of any wrong doing. He also added that he doesn’t understand what Majek’s new management is trying to achieve with their claims.
