- Everyone or at least most people agree that Yemi Alade is having a wonderful 2016
- It is safe to say that she has dethroned the likes of Tiwa Savage and Chidinma and is now the queen of Nigerian music
- However, Chidinma has come out to say that she is not threatened by Yemi’s success
If there is any artiste who has gained immensely from the absence of Tiwa Savage and Chidinma from the Nigerian music industry, it is Yemi Alade.
The self-acclaimed Mama Africa used this period of free reign to release songs backed by powerful videos which eventually found their way into our hearts. This makes her the number one female musician in the country at this time.
But Chidinma has already begun plotting on how she will get back to the top. Her latest video for the song Fallen in love has already garnered over 1 million views since its release 2 weeks ago.
She also revealed in a recent interview on Soundcity FM that she’s not threatened by Yemi Alade taking her spot as the African Princess.
