5 ways romance can be confused with witchcraft in Nigeria
Every country and culture have their different ways to wooing women and dating practices. The ones we see in foreign films are second nature to them and the ones in Nigerian films, we can relate with.
However, some romantic gestures can be misconstrued if a person is not used to it. t;s like when a comedian said Nigerian women will not accept flowers because they are 'grass'.
It is important to know your boo and find out what works with them so you don't end up scaring them because they think it is witchcraft. Legit.ng has compiled five hilarious times Nigerian Twitter users showed the witchcraft side of some romantic gestures:
1. When the man has watched to many love scenes in foreign movies.
In films, it's cute to wake your girlfriend up in he middle of the night just to show her love and say you were missing her. We even do that but usually via midnight calls and all.
However, if you are not careful, someone will think you have come with a concoction at the appointed time by your native doctor, lol, so be careful.

2. When the woman takes the lead.
These days, women can use Feminism to take the lead in society. Some women can even take the lead and ask the man out or propose a relationship.
This is a refreshing train of thought but some men wonder if you are a 'mami water' or something dangerous which is why you chase men and they don't chase you.

3. When even Church cannot save him
Some men can go to Church but have still not let Christ into their life. They will fight you, treat you anyhow and you will try to justify it because he goes to Church.
Look for the man who loves Christ so much you see it in him and not the one who reminds you that he loves Christ when you don't see it. They say even the devil knows the Bible.
